This DRN issue focuses on the critical role of agriculture sector on the strategy for development. Studies included in this issue are particularly relevant at a time when economic recovery depend much on the restructuring of the agricultural sector. Its potential should be developed on equal footing with industry and manufacturing sector. This is one of the arguments reflected on each article.
