The Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), the University of the Philippines School of Economics (UPSE), and the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) will hold the hybrid launch of the Philippines Socioeconomic Panel Survey (PSPS) on May 18, 2023, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the UPSE Auditorium and via Zoom platform.

The event will feature the PSPS, a 20-year panel survey that sheds light on the long-term processes of social and economic development by providing publicly available data for government actors and the Philippine public. It was conducted by the IPA and the Global Poverty Research Lab at Northwestern University in partnership with PIDS and the UPSE.

The PSPS will be presented by the project's lead academic researchers Dean Karlan and Chris Udry.
