The Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P) Network Annual Symposium and Meeting serves as a dynamic platform to bring network members together to explore innovative approaches to research dissemination in today’s fast-paced digital world. This event underscores the commitment of SERP-P and its partners to stay at the forefront of digital transformation, ensuring that research not only reaches its intended audiences but also drives meaningful impact.

This year's theme, "Research in Action: Transforming Research Dissemination in the Digital Age," will take place on December 5, 2024. This event highlights the indispensable role of digital tools and platforms in enhancing the accessibility, relevance, and influence of socioeconomic research. By leveraging these innovations, SERP-P and its partners aim to strengthen evidence-based decisionmaking and inspire positive change across various sectors.

The morning session will serve as a knowledge-sharing forum, featuring presentations and discussions on topics relevant to SERP-P and its network members. These discussions will delve into emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in research dissemination to equip SERP-P members with advanced tools, strategies, and best practices to amplify their reach and improve their dissemination efforts.

It showcases and links various studies and materials produced by Philippine academic and research institutions, government agencies, and international organizations based in the country. Established in 2000 under the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), it embodies the Institute's mandate of providing a common link between the government and research institutions and establishing a repository of socioeconomic research information. The SERP-P Network currently has more than 60 partner-institutions.

Onsite participation is by invitation only. Interested participants can tune in to the livestream of the morning session on the PIDS and SERP-P Facebook pages.
