The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) conducted a public consultation on "Grocery and Supermarket Retail Business in the Philippines" on August 9, 2019 at the PCC Court Room, 25th Floor, Vertis North Corporate Center Tower 1, North Avenue, Quezon City.
The PCC, together with PIDS, engaged the services of Dr. Mitzie Irene P. Conchada and Ms. Deborah Kim Sy to conduct a market scoping study focusing on the Philippine Retail Business. In this public consultation, the authors presented the results of their study. Participants had the opportunity to provide comments to ensure that the study is useful to the PCC and other stakeholders.
