This article is about the Symposium on Structures and Reforms for Rural Development in the Philippines held on March 17, 1993. The symposium was divided into three sessions. Session 1 focused on the present rural development as well as agricultural credit policy. Session 2 discussed about migration issues and agrarian reform while the last session centered on environmental issues as well as the role of non-government organizations in rural development.
