The Philippine Institute for Development Studies, in collaboration with the Congressional Policy and Budget Research Department (CPBRD) will hold a forum titled, “Why pursue Federalism? Why not just amend the Local Government Code?” to discuss about the different aspects of the proposed shift to a federal form of government in the country.

The speakers include PIDS Senior Research Fellow Dr. Rosario G. Manasan, CPBRD Director General Dr. Romulo Emmanuel M. Miral, Jr., and Ateneo de Manila School of Government Professor Dr. Ronald U. Mendoza.

The forum will be held on February 13, 2018, 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM at the Speaker Montilla Hall, South Wing Annex, House of Representatives, Quezon City.
