The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) will hold a public consultation on "Philippine Digital Commerce Market" on March 13, 2019 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the PCC Board Room, 25th Floor, Vertis North Corporate Center Tower 1, North Avenue, North Avenue, Quezon City.

The PCC is an independent quasi-judicial government agency that aims to promote and safeguard market competition. Part of the mandate of the PCC is to conduct, publish, and disseminate studies relating to competition in various sectors. To guide the PCC in systematically prioritizing sectors it will investigate, the PCC has engaged the services of PIDS (through Ms. Ramonette B. Serafica and Mr. Arjan Paulo S. Salvanera) and Ms. Marie Antoinette L. Rosete and Mr. Peter Jeff C. Camaro from the University of Santo Tomas to prepare an issues paper on the Philippine digital commerce market.
