Senior Research Fellow Erlinda Medalla opened discussions on the conduct of cost benefit analysis projects during the 2nd project evaluation and incentive availment workshop for various government agencies organized by the Philippine Board of Investments and EU SWITCH Policy Support Component Philippines.

Participants in the workshop are involved in the actual implementation of the Climate Incentives for Manufacturing (CLIMA) Scheme, a targeted financial incentive scheme that aims to promote energy efficiency and conservation, and the greening of the country's manufacturing industry and sub-sectors.

The workshop which was held in Makati City on May 25, 2017 was attended by representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources' Environmental Management Bureau, Department of Energy, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Budget and Management, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), and investment promotion agencies such as the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), Clark Development Corporation (CDC), and other government agencies.
